With the aim of spreading Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ideals of service and rural development to the masses, the ‘Vadnagar to Varanasi Seva Sankalp Yatra’, organized by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), reached Mozhari in Amravati district.
The Yatra was welcomed at the Gurukunj Ashram of National Saint Tukdoji Maharaj in the presence of BJP Maharashtra State President Ravindra Chavan. On this occasion, Ravindra Chavan visited the Samadhi and throne of National Saint Tukdoji Maharaj. He also welcomed the officials and workers participating in the Yatra.
A special program was organized to mark the occasion of the Yatra at the Gurukunj Ashram. The program began with tree plantation. This was followed by honoring sanitation workers and distributing educational materials to students. According to the organizers, through these activities, an effort was made to practically convey the message of service, social welfare, and rural development.
Addressing the event, Ravindra Chavan said that through his writings and actions, National Saint Tukdoji Maharaj presented the idea of rural development through public participation to society. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is promoting this very idea. He also called for active work to ensure that the benefits of public welfare schemes reach the last person in society.
A large number of BJP and BJYM officials and workers were present at the event. BJP State General Secretary and MLA Dr. Sanjay Kute, MP Dr. Anil Bonde, BJYM President Krishnaraj Mahadik made their presence felt.
