AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has once again pitched for an alliance with the Samajwadi Party (SP) ahead of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, urging party chief Akhilesh Yadav to begin talks now instead of regretting the decision after the polls. However, the proposal has received a lukewarm response from the Samajwadi Party, with one of its MPs saying such an alliance appears “very difficult.”
