According to officials, the bus lost control and overturned on a highway, ending up on top of a roadside concrete barrier. Visuals from the accident site showed the vehicle lying upside down, almost bent in the middle, with its undercarriage badly damaged. One side of the overturned bus was also seen resting on top of a car on the opposite side of the divider.
