“So, 11 happens to be my luckiest number. So, my family, my sisters and brothers out of whom some of them were here. With their help and my seniors’ encouragement I shifted my practice in 92 and then I joined Justice Indu Malhotra who was then the Standing Counsel for the State of Haryana. There I learned civil as well as criminal work; otherwise I wouldn’t have done much of a criminal law work. After which I joined Mr. C.S. Vaidyanathan. I was fortunate from the time day one to have got fantastic gurus who have mentored me very well who have taught me ethics, integrity and preparation, meticulousness, discipline and everything in this profession with the kind of encouragement that I got from the seniors then when I passed the AOR examination I started independent practice here from 1996 and I had the fortune of briefing many senior advocates here and also in fact I have briefed the learned at Attorney General for India also in many matters,” said the judge.
