According to Iran’s Fars News Agency, citing the deputy governor of Bushehr Province, US forces carried out a second missile strike on the province, hitting a military site at approximately 4:00am local time (00:30 GMT). Officials did not immediately disclose the extent of the damage or whether there were any casualties.
Almost simultaneously, another US missile reportedly struck the outskirts of Andimeshk in neighbouring Khuzestan Province. Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency, quoting the province’s deputy governor, said the attack hit an area outside the city. Further details regarding the target, damage and casualties were not immediately available.
The latest strikes suggest Washington is maintaining sustained operational pressure across multiple Iranian provinces after expanding its target set beyond air defence systems and missile launchers to include logistics, transport infrastructure and military installations. Bushehr has emerged as one of the most frequently targeted regions in recent days, alongside Hormozgan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Ilam and Khuzestan.
