Under MLP’s waiver system, teams are allowed to replace current rostered players with UPA contracted players who are not on an MLP roster. Before each waiver period, interested teams submit a bid of at least $1,000. The waiver order is determined by the highest bid, with selections continuing in that order until all teams pass. Teams only pay their bid if they successfully claim a player, and a separate payment is required for each waiver claim.
