Fresh Ripples In Karnataka Congress: Cabinet Minister Ramalinga Reddy Steps Down Over Portfolio Row

“I came to politics in 1984 and joined NSUI. I have been in the Congress for nearly 50 years. The party has given me many opportunities. I have contested nine elections,” Reddy said. He added that he had never in his political career demanded a portfolio from any Chief Minister. “In the Siddaramaiah government also, I did not ask for any portfolio, yet I was made a minister,” he said.
