Iran US Israel War Live Updates: US Carries out 11th Strike on Iran; Tehran Retaliates Against Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan

Amid the escalating confrontation with the United States, Iran has executed a man accused of carrying out operations on behalf of the US and Israel, signalling Tehran’s continued crackdown on alleged espionage and sabotage networks operating inside the country.

According to Iran’s Fars News Agency, the man, identified as Mehdi Khanki, was executed after being convicted of belonging to what authorities described as an “anti-revolutionary terrorist group” and carrying out “operational acts benefitting the US and Israel.” The execution was carried out following a judicial ruling, the report said.

Iranian authorities stated that Khanki was arrested in Karaj, west of Tehran, after security forces allegedly discovered a cache of weapons and explosives inside his residence. According to the report, the seized arsenal included handguns, ammunition, explosive remote devices, handmade grenades, shoulder-fired explosive tubes and high-powered bombs. Iranian officials claimed the recovered materials were linked to planned sabotage and terrorist activities, though no further operational details were disclosed.
