When the Lok Sabha reconvened at 2 pm after its second adjournment of the day, Krishna Prasad Tenneti, who was presiding over the proceedings, informed the House that a complaint had been submitted to Speaker Om Birla against Banerjee. Tenneti said the remarks made by the TMC leader had hurt the dignity of the House.
