New Simple Family Electric Scooter: What Will It Look Like?
Test mules previously spotted on public roads show a clean front apron with a dual-chamber headlamp, a front disc brake and a long, relatively flat seat for two-up riding. Other details visible in spy shots include a single-piece rear grab rail, a practical footboard, a centre stand, side-step footrests and storage space behind the front apron, all fairly standard elements for a family-focused commuter scooter. The test mule also showed a mid-mounted electric motor sending power to the rear wheel, a layout choice Simple hasn’t explained but which typically affects weight balance and ground clearance.
