Philippines Talks Amid South China Sea Tensions
Earlier in the day, Jaishankar met Philippine Foreign Secretary Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the India-Philippines Strategic Partnership. According to Jaishankar, discussions covered cooperation in trade and investment, education, defence and security, maritime cooperation, capacity building and development cooperation.
