New Delhi: A day after activist Sonam Wangchuk was removed from Delhi’s Jantar Mantar by police citing deteriorating health due to his hunger strike, his wife, Gitanjali J Angmo, has moved the Delhi High Court on Sunday (July 19) seeking an urgent hearing on the matter. In a post on X, Angmo called his stay at the government-run Safdarjung Hospital an “illegal detention” and demanded that he be shifted to a private facility of their choice.
