At least a dozen attacks on health facilities and medical workers have disrupted efforts to contain the rapidly expanding Ebola outbreak in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, as insecurity and a strike by unpaid frontline staff continue to hamper the response. Authorities said on Saturday that the outbreak has already recorded 2,181 cases, including 864 deaths, making it the fastest-growing Ebola outbreak on record.
