It was not just praise that followed after a video from Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur surfaced on social media; it was also irked reactions that took over, mostly questioning the drainage system of Indians cities. Confused? A video was shared online, which showed a biker coming across a woman who was left stuck in the middle of a severely waterlogged road. The woman was on her scooter, but was unable to move due to the water and due to her leg being stuck between the vehicle and a broken divider fence. Rushing to action, the man stopped his bike and calmed down the woman, along with ultimately helping her out.
The video immediately went viral, garnering praise for the man. However, amid the praise, many also expressed their anger over the road’s condition. Netizens were quick to raise questions on the city infrastructure, along with commenting on how the incident “could have ended badly”. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.
Ever since the monsoon has arrived in the country, most of its cities are witnessing flooding, waterlogging, infrastructural damage and even casualties.
