Looking back, Messi’s decision to leave seemed fair. Countless ‘what if’ moments, seldom any help from the other glittering stars in that attack, and often all the brunt of the blame. But his decision to come back, may be the greatest of them all. Going from an “international failure”, to having arguably the greatest international football career ever- the little boy from Rosario has surely turned the tables around. And for Argentina, Enzo Fernandez might be the one that deserves to be lauded for possibly convincing Messi to continue playing for the national team.
