From Bollywood stars to TV celebrities, scores of celebrities have rallied in support of activist Sonam Wangchuk and urged him to end his hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, Delhi. Amid growing concern over his deteriorating health due to indefinite fasting, popular television actress Shweta Tiwari has also shared a post. In an Instagram Story, the Kasautii Zindagii Kay star expressed her support for the students’ protest but clarified that she disagrees with the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). She openly stated that she does not support their approach but believes that Wangchuk’s cause is genuine. Tiwari added that her support is for Sonam Wangchuk and his cause, not for any political group or organisation.
