India’s proposed Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the European Union has the potential to create major opportunities for businesses, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and consumers, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said during an interaction with a high-level Indian business delegation in Brussels. The meeting brought together representatives from leading industry associations, including the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), along with several regional business bodies.
