US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has announced a new annual screening programme to detect “testosterone deficiency” among American troops aged 30 and above, saying the initiative is aimed at ensuring service members can perform at their “absolute best.” Under the policy, personnel under 30 will have the option to undergo voluntary testing as part of the Pentagon’s broader medical screening programme.
