Reacting to the fatwa, Samajwadi Party’s spokesperson Mohammad Azam defended the actor’s right to make personal decisions and said that there are clerics issuing a fatwa against Aamir Khan, while on the other hand BJP leader Nitesh Rane is calling him the brand ambassador of Love Jihad. Does this mean that if a person wants to take any decision about his personal life, he must first seek permission from the VHP, the BJP and the clerics? The Constitution of India gives Aamir Khan the right to live his life the way he wants.
