In his letter, Ghadi stated that as Deputy Mayor, he is required to attend administrative meetings, seminars, civic body proceedings, public interactions and meetings with elected representatives and senior officials on a daily basis. Travelling from Dahisar East to the BMC headquarters at CSMT, he wrote, causes him “mental and physical distress” and makes it difficult to reach on time. With monsoon now underway, he added, the journey is expected to become even more difficult.
