According to police, a note purportedly left behind by the girl claimed that she had been punished by a teacher for not completing her homework. In the note, she alleged that she was fined Rs 20 and was also threatened with the issuance of a Transfer Certificate (TC). The student reportedly stated that the incident left her emotionally distressed and pushed her to take the extreme step.
