The fish known as lagogephalus in Greece, has originated from the Indo-Pacific region, but has found itself in the eastern Mediterranean region such as tourist hotspots in Athens, Rhodes, Crete and other places in the Aegean islands although the fish is originally seen in Indo-Pacific waters. The causes for this rapid spread of the fish from its native habitats and the need to protect the habitats as well as deal with climate change.
