Amid heavy rain in Pune and across Maharashtra, a landslide struck a house in Patan village, Maval Taluka, early this morning (July 6), killing one person. According to preliminary reports, the entire family residing in the house was feared to be trapped under the debris. The District Disaster Management Officer (DDMO), Pune, and the Maval Tehsildar arrived at the scene immediately after receiving news of the incident and began rescue operations. However, two people are still feared trapped, while the officials have recovered one body.
