The four-term congresswoman also landed a notable endorsement Sunday from Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, someone who has been aligned with McMorrow. That makes Nessel the most senior state official to weigh in on the primary so far. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who is not seeking reelection, has yet to back anyone in the race.
