Perry was on strike as the winning runs were scored (through a wide) to seal Australia’s seventh Women’s T20 World Cup title. Perry has been part of all seven triumphs, having been part of the squad in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2018, 2020, 2023 and 2026. She has also won two Women’s World Cups, in 2013 and 2022.
