Vir Hirani, the son of veteran filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, took an unconventional route for his acting debut. Instead of choosing a mainstream big-screen Bollywood entertainer, he introduced himself to the Indian audience with JioHotstar’s latest series, Pritam And Pedro. Directed by Avinash Arun, the six-episode show launches him as Pritam Parker, a young Goa boy who leaves his tech job behind to lead a quiet and happy life with his grandfather. With Pritam And Pedro, Hirani showcased his acting prowess and created a favourable impression while sharing the screen with senior actors like Arshad Warsi and Vikrant Massey.
