Last week, K. Bhagyaraj’s office released the veteran filmmaker’s final letter, in which the letter mentioned about the values that guided his life. In the two-page note, he wrote, “Happiness comes from making people around you happy,” adding that the love and support of his fans had always been the force behind his journey. K Bhagyaraj also reaffirmed his wish to donate his eyes, writing, “I have kept my eyes alive just for your loving gaze. Please take care of them.” K Bhagyaraj was laid to rest at the Besant Nagar crematorium in Chennai. Bhagyaraj was accorded full state honours. Radhika Sarathkumar and Suhasini Maniratnam were seen expressing their displeasure with members of the media at K. Bhagyaraj’s funeral, accusing them of disrupting the proceedings. They requested for privacy.
