The review described the film as “a significant milestone for the biggest action franchise in Bollywood, set in the ever-expanding YRF Spy Universe.” Further, it mentioned that Alpha has both high-octane action and emtional quotient. “It is possibly the smartest in terms of story building, bringing a dollop of science, experiments and test subjects into play. The Alpha serum kicks in, and so does the adrenaline rush and pace of the film,” the review added.
