Earlier this year, a Class 12 student was booked by the Mainpuri police for allegedly attacking a 26-year-old teacher after she rejected his advances. According to police, the accused, who had allegedly harassed the woman on previous occasions, intercepted her on Agra Road on January 20 while she was on her way to tutor a student. He allegedly tried to force her into a nearby lane and physically assault her.
