Ben Stokes dropped a bombshell that rocked the cricketing world, as he announced his sudden retirement from all forms of international cricket, after the three-match Test series between England and New Zealand ended in a 1-1 draw. This comes amid speculation that the recent bar brawl which caused his one-match suspension was the main cause of the England captain calling curtains on his career all of a sudden. However, Stokes has himself revealed the reason, and it has something to do with the physical and mental toll that he had undergone after England were decimated by Australia 1-4 in the 2025/26 Ashes Series.
