Mahindra Thar Facelift 2026: Design
The core design will not be altered in the design overhaul, so the signature boxy silhouette, upright stance, and short overhangs will likely remain. Instead, the facelift is expected to focus on making the front end look sharper and more contemporary. You can anticipate the 3-door off-roader to borrow styling elements from the 5-door Thar Roxx, such as a grille. It may sport a redesigned nose featuring a more sculpted bumper, a revised grille and updated lighting elements. One of the most prominent upgrades could also be the new LED headlamp setup. Unlike the current model, where the daytime running lights are positioned separately, the facelifted Thar is expected to house the DRLs within the headlamp units. The side profile will likely remain largely unchanged, with the lifestyle SUV continuing to have a compact wheelbase and squared-off design. However, Mahindra could add newly designed alloy wheels. At the rear, subtle revisions to the taillamps and bumper are also expected.
