In a separate incident reported last week, a 42-year-old cab driver from Bengaluru’s Shantinagar area was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 27-year-old woman from Assam. The incident reportedly occurred in Avalahalli between 12:30 am and 1:40 am on Wednesday. The accused, originally from Ballari, was residing in Shantinagar at the time of the incident.
