Tata Sierra EV New Teaser Video Out – Check Out Legendary SUV's Fresh Look!

Why Does the QWD AWD System Matter Here?

A dual-motor QWD layout sends power to both axles instead of just the front wheels which should translate into better traction on sand, slush or wet roads, along with quicker off-the-line response. Tata Motors has already proven this setup on the Harrier EV, which uses the brand’s Acti.ev+ platform with 65kWh and 75kWh battery options. If the Sierra EV follows the same structure, expect the QWD variant to sit at the top of the range while lower trims likely stick to a single motor and smaller battery for buyers who don’t need the extra traction.
