Mumbai woke up to widespread waterlogging and traffic disruption on Wednesday (June 24) after continuous heavy rainfall through the night, with visuals from across the city showing flooded roads, submerged railway tracks, closed subways, and severe waterlogging in several low-lying areas. According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the Andheri underpass was closed after relentless rain led to significant water accumulation, making it unsafe for vehicles. Civic officials said all other subways across the city remained operational, while local train services continued without disruption.
