Alpha
Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, releases in theatres on July 3. It follows the story of Sita, who is trained by her guardian to become an assassin. However, she plans to take him down after learning about his sinister intention to destroy the country. Alpha also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
Dhamaal 4
The cast of Dhamaal franchise gets bigger with the fourth installment. Dhamaal 4, directed by Indra Kumar, is about a treasure hunt that keeps the characters on their toes. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Sanjay Mishra, along with Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar and Ravi Kishan. Dhamaal 4 releases on July 10.
Batwara 1947
Batwara 1947, formerly titled Lahore 1947, is headlined by Shabana Azmi, Sunny Deol, Preity G. Zinta, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal and Abhimanyu Singh. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, Aamir Khan produces the film. Batwara 1947 is based on the Urdu play, Jis Lahore Nai Vekhya O Jamyai Nai. The film releases in theatres on August 14.
Awarapan 2
Directed by Nitin Kakkar, Awarapan 2 stars Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani. The film marks Hashmi’s return as the famous character Shivam. The romantic drama releases in theatres on August 14.
Eetha
Shraddha Kapoor’s Eetha, directed by Laxman Utekar, is releasing in theatres on August 28, which will be celebrated as Raksha Bandhan in India. The film is a biopic of legendary lavani dancer and tamasha artiste Vithabai Narayangaonkar. The first teaser is exclusively available in theatres along with Cocktail 2’s prints.
Mirzapur The Film
After a ‘bhaukaal’ run on Amazon Prime Video, Mirzapur is adapted into a film, which is releasing on September 4. The film stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, Shweta Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohit Malik and many others. It is loosely based on the first season of the series.
Drishyam 3
Vijay Salgaonkar and his family return to the big screen with Drishyam 3 on October 2. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film takes the story forward and will be set after the events of the sequel. Drishyam 3 stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat among several others.
Ramayana
Based on the Valmiki Ramayana, Nitesh Tiwari tells the Hindu epic in two parts. The first releases on October 30, which is Diwali. Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol and Ravi Dubey lead the film.
King
King is headlined by Shah Rukh Khan. The other confirmed actors in the film are Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Saurabh Shukla, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, Abhay Verma, and Akshaye Oberoi. It is an action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand. The film releases on December 24.
Shakti Shalini
