Rukmini Vasanth’s complaint has led Bengaluru Cyber Crime Police to arrest three individuals in connection with the circulation of AI-generated objectionable images and videos of the actor. The actress who was part of Kantara Chapter 1 has alleged that fake and morphed content created using artificial intelligence was being shared on social media platforms with the permission in order to defame her. The actor said in a statement that the content violated her privacy, damaged her reputation, and caused mental harassment. Following her complaint, a case was registered under the Information Technology Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, getting an investigation done.
