'Will Not Accept If…': Mojtaba Khamenei Breaks Silence on US-Iran Peace Deal

Khamenei also revealed that he had initially opposed the deal. “I, as a matter of principle, held a different view,” he said. However, he said he ultimately approved the agreement after receiving assurances from Iran’s president that the rights of the Iranian people and what he described as the “Resistance Front” would be protected. However, he cautioned that “if the American side wants to be greedy, they [Iran] will not accept it [the agreement]”.
