Harmanpreet Kaur etched her name in record books and created history for India as she went past Mithali Raj to become India’s highest run-scorer at the T20 World Cup. Mithali, who retired from T20I cricket in 2019, scored 726 runs in 23 innings from 2009 to 2018. She was dropped for the 2018 WC semi-final against England. Harmanpreet shared the top spot with Mithali and went past her right after opening her account.
