Scotland started strongly and created early chances, with Ben Doak testing the Haiti goalkeeper and Scott McTominay hitting the post. Scotland had a chance to extend the lead to 2-0 when Lawrence Shankland headed narrowly wide from a Doak cross. Haiti, meanwhile, stayed in the game and created some dangerous moments, but could not convert the moments into goals.
