Nearly a month after leading India for the first time, Shreyas Iyer finally registered his maiden T20I series win as the captain after India defeated Zimbabwe by a big 90-run margin in the second game of the three-match series. Iyer-led India kicked off the series with a seven-wicket win. They followed up with a win in the second game to seal the series. The Men in Blue are now aiming to whitewash the hosts. Iyer-led India were whitewashed in both series after the 2026 T20 World Cup.
