With both rivals hampered, US exports of crude and fuel climbed to roughly 10.5 million barrels per day in May, according to ship tracking firm Vortexa. According to a report from Reuters, that made it the top global exporter for the third consecutive month. Russia exported around 7 million barrels per day in May, while Saudi Arabia shipped out 5.9 million, Vortexa data showed.
