Aged 39 years and 44 days, Rohit Sharma will become the oldest Indian ODI player. The record presently belongs to Mohinder Amarnath, who was 39 years and 36 days old on the day of his last ODI in October 1989. He was the vice-captain of the 1983 World Cup-winning team.
