On February 25, police discovered the bodies of Anita, 30, and the couple’s three daughters, aged three, four and five, inside their home. Investigators said all four victims had suffered fatal injuries caused by a sharp-edged weapon. Kewat, who worked as a vegetable vendor at Azadpur Mandi, was missing when the bodies were found, making him the prime suspect in the case.
