As per PTI, out of 9,62,832 candidates scheduled for the exam on Monday, a total of 7,23,540 candidates appeared, marking an attendance rate of 75.15 per cent. This year, the recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 32,679 vacancies and is scheduled over three days, June 8, 9 and 10, across six shifts in total. Overall, nearly 28.86 lakh candidates had applied for the examination process.
