On that note, it is being said that GTA 6 trailer 3 will be dropped in August, and the news has got almost all the GTA enthusiasts jumping in joy. According to a reliable tipster, NateTheHate, the trailer could drop in August 2026.
When asked about GTA 6 in a Q&A round on X, he said, ‘I expect to see a fair bit of GTA 6 next month.’ And he also clarified that by next month he means August only. Keeping in mind that the launch of the game is just 3 and a half months away from us, expecting a trailer somewhere around mid-August is not something desperate. And to corroborate the same, a popular content creator dubbed iGRandTheftAuto reported that they have spotted some backend changes in the website of GTA 6.
iGrandTheftAuto posted, ‘There’s now been 3 minor updates to the website today. It certainly looks like something might be happening soon. If not later today, keep a close eye on Rockstar and the GTA 6 site tomorrow. No guarantees, but this is definitely unusual!’ The creator further said when asked if they have spotted these kinds of changes on the website in the past, ‘Last time I detected a change out of the blue, the cover art and pre-order announcement dropped the next day. Doesn’t mean that’ll happen this time, but they’re definitely working on something.’
If we connect the dots, the next Take Two’s (parent company of Rockstar) investor call is on August 7, 2026, and the fans could get to see a trailer 3 dropping a couple of days before or after it. And we all know that Rockstar Games will be releasing either a gameplay sequence or a proper trailer with a deep dive into GTA 6 in the future. It will be more than interesting to see the internet crash again as soon as the third trailer or gameplay video of the game drops.
