The Alpha teaser, starring Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol, was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday (June 10). Helmed by Shiv Rawail, the film marks Alia’s debut in Aditya Chopra’s YRF Spy Universe. While the first promo left fans excited for the action thriller, it also triggered an online debate. Many felt that the film appeared to be inspired by iconic Hollywood films. Not only this, its introduction scene is also said to be quite similar to the 1990 French film La Femme Nikita, shot at Le Train Bleu. In the Alpha teaser, Alia and Bobby are chatting at a restaurant before he gives her instructions for her “first kill.”
