Speaking on the matter, Koppal SP Dr Ram L Arasiddi informed that the matter is being investigated: “When the injured were asked, they said that one of the suspects turned off the lights of the room and stabbed them with a knife. Based on this Thata Rao, grandfather of the boy, has filed a complaint in Gangavathi rural police station. We have visited the spot and collected the evidence. Our IG has visited Ballari Trauma care centre and spoke to the victims. Soujanya and the boy (accused) are receiving treatment, and the boy has sustained minor injuries. As per the complaint and the FIR, the boy is the suspect. We are investigating further.”
