US Detains Iraq Footballer Aymen Hussein, Official Deported As Lions Of Mesopotamia Face Early FIFA Turbulence

Iraq football striker Aymen Hussein was grilled by the officials after arriving in the United States for the FIFA World Cup 2026, according to Iraqi media. Hussein, one of Iraq’s important players, was detained at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport and questioned for more than seven hours before being allowed to enter the country. According to the reports, Iraq’s football squad landed in Chicago at around 1:00 AM local time, and while other coaching staff, players and officials cleared the checkpoints smoothly, officials held back Hussein for questioning.
