The FIFA World Cup 2026 is all set to start from June 11 in USA, Canada and Mexico, with 48 teams set to play the tournament for the first time in history. Despite the increase in the number of teams, India still did not manage to qualify, or even come close to qualifying for the mega tournament. However, there was a time, way back in 1950, when India actually had earned the right to play in the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
