The Trinamool Congress (TMC) announced a series of key organisational appointments during its National Working Committee meeting held at the party headquarters in Kalighat, Kolkata, on June 5. Among the major decisions taken at the meeting, Derek O’Brien and Dola Sen were appointed as National Joint Secretaries. The two leaders will assist National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee. The party also announced the reconstitution of the West Bengal Pradesh Trinamool Congress Committee, describing the list released as an initial set of appointments, with more names expected to be added later.
